We can’t keep up with the weeds that the February rains have brought! Although the California poppies are doing very well, they have to compete with “uninvited guests,” as one gardener likes to call weeds. We are getting out there when we can but it often is raining when we have free time.
The planning is coming along well for our 3rd Annual Plant Sale. April 24, 2010 is the date. We are hard at work soliciting donations of plants and pots, as well as potting the plants that we have. This year started earlier so it might be a bit easier plus our plants will be more mature than previous years, which will hopefully mean that they will sell for a better price. Feel free to contact us if you have donations or if you wish to volunteer.
